RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Kenya tipped as battle for Interesting and excellent posts. I like to read and analyse what everyone has to say, and make my own best judgements from there. I think both sides have excellent points of view myself, and I certainly don't think anyone is living in a pipe dream with regards to SMB. I think it's a toss up as to who will be right with regards to the CPR and the price action which will result. On the one hand, these markets are absolutely terrible right now, and that's certainly weighing on the SPs of juniors these days. On the opposite end of the continent, I,like many, waited and waited for EOGs GUY report to come in, expecting a major pop on positive results. The report came in and effectively upped EOGs potential reserves to something like 17 billion barrels potential reserves. When I read the report pre market, I thought "Wow", here we go. 2 weeks later, EOG closed at .59 today, down from around around $1.20 a month ago. Terrible market conditions.
On the other side of the coin, Kenya has gotten a lot of attention and interest going right now. Tullow are perdicting a discovery potentially 10x that of Uganda [ 5 billion barrels ], and the interest in the area has been evident in the number of shares traded these past couple of weeks. People are lining the door to get in, and our SP holding steady in these conditions I think is a positive sign. There are a lot of people waiting anxiously for Sproule, and as mentioned, many holders are seem to be for the long and probaly won't let shares go cheap. Even with EOG as I mentioned, there wasn't nearly asmuch hype as with SMB here. Either way, I don't know what the price will be with Sproule, but just like with EOGs current situation and their declineing SP, I see it as an opportunity because I'm an investor in it for the potential of what I think it can be, not necessarily what the market tells me today. Maybe it will pop, maybe it won't, but it'll definitely be higher, and probaly much higher at that, in the future. Just my opinion and I'm no expert. Always appreciate the good reading you all provide. Thanks. EH1.
