The outcome was something nobody expected: The rocks aren't that good. Everyone believed Moriarty was right, but the long awaited NI43-101 came up with 20K oz of marginally economic gold. I dumped a few days ago. Maybe I'm wrong about the rocks, but that was my read.

Curiosity

Whats the verdict on douglas lake shares are plummeting??????????????

J

I have been a Geologist in Tanzania for 5 years. I know the area and I know the people in management. The Tanzanian Directors are trustworthy, honest people being conned by Harp Sanga and friends. I met with Douglas Lake minerals in 2004 and even then knew these people where up to something. Gold values probably more in the range of 0.2 - 0.5 g/t over smaller areas. Still minable but not world class.

Monty are you sure they have paid for the property? I don't recall see any proof of ownership.

Sure, keep up the commentary. It's a truly bizarre story. Is it possible that it's just a case of someone really stupid (or perhaps just bad with numbers), that is, Harp Sangha, got hold of a truly fantastic property?

I have to say that what troubles me more about this than anything is that the artisanal miners do not seem to be getting results consistent with what DLKM says is in the ground. If they were, they'd be camping at the site in 50-foot motorhomes and fighting off Canadian interlopers with Uzis.

Also, that last "sample", which was about one bucketful, was pretty strange.

I'll say 90% chance of fraud - or something else - resulting in a wipout, and 10% chance of a 20-bagger.

Enjoy the thorough reporting... yes, please keep following this story.. I put a little $$ on the dip down to $.37

Thanks for the informative, amusing insight. What is happening with NGUGF. No trades in 2 days?
