RE: These banker boys are... First off it was pretty obvious Ben was going to say what he said and the fact that the market rallied yesterday on hopes and dreams is more than enough to prove "buy on the rumour sell on the news". No things are not perfect, but in our buisness model it is far greater to wait it out until the next election and pray things improve on their own in the meantime than to print another trillion dollars of funny money just to enhance gold stocks and bank reserves. As for AAPL, I won't buy it because I hate AAPL, but it is a decent stock to buy, it's very cash rich, it has a cult following that is sickening and it has finally announced it will pay a dividend to its shareholders. It's rich enough to buy up little countries and turn all of its population into iPad makers. But in the end of the day it's a better stock than this one! LOL
Gold is going to struggle to breech $1650 and hold it there. That's just for 2012. Oil is going to start bouncing between $78 to $88 through the summer. Nat Gas is going to keep going up and down 15-20 cents. Copper/Silver etc will trade flat to down. This is just for 2012. Near the election things may change again on "hopes and dreams" and not fundamentals. Then December will crash again with the usual tax selling and reality that the new (or current) president can't really fix anything just like last term. After all, how can we be in a democratic society and then except the President to take a socialist stance and "fix" employment? You can't fix the employment issue by throwing free money at the banks. That just gets dumped into the ForEx and Gold and lines already rich people's pockets. It doesn't get firms hiring new employees. The Fed has tried two QE's now and both did nothing for anyone. It popped the market up for a wee bit, then they casino ran out of chips and they want more........ time to stop trading on hopes and dreams, time to stop thinking you can buy a stock today and be up 500% by August. Look for real value stocks and be willing to hold for 1 to 5 years and you'll actually make some money. Chasing dreams is dumping your money into the pot for other rich people to steal from you. Stop fueling this chaos. I
