RE: Anyone know when we Vote on this

RE: Anyone know when we Vote on this

Cridwell, I nearly missed the conference call, myself. But luckily I was able to catch it.

The arrangement will come to a vote in August. RX is a producing gold miner. They are permitted for a small mining operation. The problem was there was a bottleneck in the process at the refiners, which meant, for awhile, there was no gold being sold. But they've resolved that now. RX is still in the startup phase, but revenue is beginning to come in. They do have a contract with a local mill, but management has said they will be looking at the possibility of switching to USA's mills after the merger goes through. Also the RX mine does have water issues which will have to be cared for in perpetuity, but currently I don't think the mine is flooded.

To my mind, the USA/RX merger is probably a good deal. RX gets to be part of a mid-tier producer, and USA gets new managers and directors who seem to come with large breadth of experience, and are promising to get things done. The new entity will get more respect in the market, they say.
