Atlantic Co-op came on board with fanfare, but their departure was never reported. This was with Futura Rewards program I believe. Maybe the first hint of trouble? Maybe they looked for something stronger, so in 2008 Aeroplan came on board. Futura became a reseller. To keep their past programs it was rebranded as a "value added" reseller.
I don't know when the Dealer Dollars came on stream, but it proved the car dealership loyalty program idea was thought about well before Graham Farrell commented about that in his blog on June 1, 2011.
They took on too much debt because the stock price hovered between 1-4 cents for the most part of the 4 years.This also gave a hint of trouble yet to come. I don't like discussiing the above because I'm a large shareholder and still think they will come out well, but at what cost?
