RE: Checkins are not the big thing yet ? Koreans use a location-based 'check-in' service to keep track of their (elementary school) children's whereabouts. You know, "Johnny's left the school ground, now he's in the park." and that seems like a valid application to me. However, i cannot understand why any adult would want to make his specific whereabouts known, at any given moment, to each and every jk-off in the world. But then again, i may be peculiar that way: i don't even have a facebook account in my real name.
