at this point in time would be the Shire licensing potential. Anyone's guess here is up for grabs. If I were the CEO of Shire today, I would be making some very urgent decisions that could affect that company for the next 20 years. Having the first options on a licensing agreement holds gravitas. Quick decisions must be made. In the Pharma world, he who hesitates is lost...and can be lost forever.

Then there are the 'other 50' Pharmas, some with over 7 1/2 billion shares out at $50 to $100/share. $500 million to $1 billion for many of them is peanuts....and they can finance it at about 2% with petty cash.
