RE: RE: LBS Apps Poynt has for some time been ahead of the curve. Everybody knew the big guys would be entering the space, now that they are in a big way validates the concept. This means there is money to be made, this is no reason to run and hide, this a reason to be proud of Poynt's vision. The issued patents in Poynt's possession have priority to 1999, these patents very specifically cover geo-fencing and a network adapted to target an individual operating a microcomputer that is linked to an Internet to offer this individual goods or services appropriate to his needs that are available at a place within reach of the individual's present location so in my opinion Poynt already owns some of the space of others beyond that of their own operations which are global in scope. WiLAN seems to think so too.
