RE: what happens if you haven't sold...

Hey Josave50...

Nothing to worry about...I also do my own trading and do not require a broker.

I can easily get in and out...I only pay $9.95 a trade so it makes it very easy for me.

However, if you are concerned about paying the commission which varies depending on your total holdings in your account I suggest the following.

My advice...you can sell at anytime next week before the Agreement gets court approval and receive whatever the public market is offering...today it was $3.29 per share...but...you will have to pay the commission if you decide to go this route.

However, if you do nothing...Iamgold will pay the commission costs for you and the money will be deposited into your account and you will be paid at $3.30 per share.  This route will take sometime to complete.. about 2 weeks...it all depends on court approval and the payout process by the respective brokerage houses.

I chose to sell today and forfeit the $.01...I have plans for next week and do not want to wait for the payout...it only cost me $9.95 to get out.

Congratulations on being involved in a take-over...they do not come along very often when you are actually holding the stock...I have been fortunate enough the last couple of years to be involved in a number of them.

All the best!
