Fact or Fiction ????

Fact or Fiction ????

Question: On the issue of how much mineral tax will be paid from the net profits from the proposed Raven coal mine,  Compliance CEO John Tapics has said no mineral tax would be paid because it is a privately owned resource. This would seem to imply that since most of the coal is fee simple, there's some sort of loophole on the mineral tax that would apply. Are Mr. Tapics statements correct on the mineral taxes ?????
