American Creek Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: AMK) ("the Corporation") responds to the press release issued by Teuton Resources Corp. ("Teuton") on June 8, 2012 entitled "Litigation Update - Amended Response to Civil Claim" wherein Teuton states that it will be seeking leave of the Court to amend its Response to Civil Claim (Defence) in the litigation with the Corporation concerning the Treaty Creek Property. In the proposed amendments Teuton alleges, among other things, that the geoscientific data obtained by the Corporation respecting the Treaty Creek Property is unreliable and that the Corporation fraudulently concealed this from Teuton. The Corporation refutes these and all other allegations made by Teuton.
As stated previously, the matter is before the Court and it continues to be our view that it is inappropriate to try to litigate through press releases. It is with regret that we feel compelled to comment on matters raised by Teuton in its press releases.
The Corporation will continue to pursue all legal remedies to compel Teuton to honour its contractual obligations and transfer title to the Treaty Creek Property to American Creek.
