I tried to warn people not to get too excited on Friday due to short covering and start throwing out numbers like 2.25 open etc..

As far as macro, anyone who chooses to ignore it will be punished by the market. Macro has and will always matter. 

 

As far as the Greeks, that story is only going to get worse.  Either this year or next year. Injecting money into a broken state is useless.   The problem with Greece's debt and U.S. debt for that matter is not liquidity.  It's insolvency.  If your $500, 000 home is worth only $200 000 today and I give you another loan/mortgage for $300,000..... Well we haven't really solved the problem have we.    The problem is here and will be, until another break will happen.  Can't tell you when because people in a state of euphoria can drive the markets to an irrational level until the macro actually makes it physically impossible and smacks them in the face.
