I am well aware of assay methods as I have sent rocks for assay for 25+ years.  The point I am trying to clear up is that no matter what assay method, some companies prefer to RE-ASSAY to confirm high-grade samples.  That is why they might be doing this.  It has absolutely nothing to do with the initial assay method.
