When you file assessment the Ministry date stamps the application.  It may take several weeks before they get around to looking at it because they have only a handful of assessors for the entire province, but at least the date stamp keeps the claim open with a 'work report pending' notice until the work is approved.  Strike has allowed several claims to actually LAPSE before realizing they have.  That's the point I am making.  One day they will lose key claims.  Good for guys like me that wait for claims to come open - not so good for shareholders of the company.  Bottom line is it doesn't reflect well on the management of the company.
