RE: RE: RE: RE: Am I the only one not calling toda Metals, correction all along I indicated that people here were being very unrealistic and they slagged me as a basher (eventhough I probably have way more shares than anyone posting here).
"to be mined" enough said. Rocks in the ground are largely meaningless particularly during a global slowdown. Add into the mix that commodity prices are being artificially inflated at the moment because China is building cities that house no people. Every 6 months they drop several cities in place. That course is not sustainable and will also slow down so we can all look forward to lower commodity prices over the next 3-7 years. China's growth will drop from 8-6% over the next few years and the effect will be massive.
Institutional investors know all of this so unless you are actually bringing a product to market, a wing and a prayer is a nice story but just a story. No different than most people here who are not long term investors, the SP will not sustain higher levels until the company demonstrates that it is close to bringing material revenue through the door. All else is sheer speculation and speculation does not build stakeholder value on a sustained and consistent basis.
Now no doubt this post will be deemed as overly pessimistic but that said I will continue to accumulate as the speculators get annoyed and dump their shares because on a longer term horizon the returns will be there to be pleased with- just not the massive spikes most are hoping for.
Be reasonable in your expectations folks and you will not be disappointed.
