RE: Billion Dollar Asset

RE: Billion Dollar Asset

This morning stockhouse's article paints a very gloomy picture for junior golds stocks which could fall another 50% from what they are at now. But it also said that amongst the rubble, you can pick winners.... which have enough cash to last through this downturn and have great assets. The article mentioned Kaminak Gold (KAM). The last I checked is that they have $22mil cash with a market cap $141mil and great asset in Yukon of which a maiden 43-101 Inferred resource is expected in Q1 2013.

.

Comparing VTR with KAM, VTR is at a much better shape. Market cap $110mil (less than KAM), $38 mil cash (more than KAM). Great assets (notice the "s") in various properties. 43-101 resources have 4mil oz M&I, 1mil oz inferred at Kiaka Central alone. Potential high grade game changer at Kiaka South whose maiden resource expected Q3 2012. Burkina Faso is a mining friendly nation. The only thing KAM seems to better is it's in Canada. All other things VTR is better. So, what's getting into this columnist head, not to mention VTR? Well, maybe he is only talking about companies listed on the Venture Exchange?! Anyhow, in short, if he considers KAM is a winner amongst the rubbles, I believe we have a true winner here with VTR!! The market is not waking to that fact yet?! It will be... as we move along into building a mine.
