I don't know what you guys are using for comparables.  If you don't want to look at the ETFs I listed, looke at ORE, down 9.41 per cent and KGN down 7.37 cents.    VTR is not going to give away shares at 30 cents on a financing; there are all kinds of alternatives to that;   Why is everyone so negative on one day, when its a knee jerk reaction.  Tomorrow is another day;  it seems plain to me that Europe is still a mess the US economy is going no where and we are going to see more QE sooner or later, and anyway we are priced for gold at 1275.00.  As for the institutions buying, they need higher volume than this little action we are seeing.  They are not going to find 10 million shares up for sale at these prices.  To get even 5 million shares they are going to have to move way up the ladder.
