NEWS JUNE 13 It does not appear that this is anything like Dacar. Awarite, the nickel-iron alloy that First Point is planning to direct ship to steel producers, appears not to exist in FSJs latest samples. The low cost argument is gone as this sulfide rich rock would have to go through a smelter to produce nickel. The mineralogy sounds complicated. The milling of this rock may be a challenge to produce a clean concentrate, and additional cost considering that so much more low grade material will have to be milled to produce a sulfide concentrate that would be shipped to a smelter.
IMHO, FTJ looks like a shell in waiting.
