Government Ownership?

Government Ownership?

Would it be a good thing or a bad thing for the Kyrgyz government to take a stake in Stans Energy?  According to the last press release, this is a likely possibility. The stock price has been hammered right back down, so it doesn't appear investors are impressed with the great news Stans has recently released.

The government owns 33% of Centerra Gold.  Would it be a good or bad thing for them to take a large stake in Stans Energy?  I guess one good thing would be it would eliminate 33% of the huge float Stans has (of course, not as huge as some companies in the space, but big enough).
