Take out

Take out

I have not seen much discussion around a take out by Rio Tinto, Chineese interests etc,. it would seem to me that having this company slowly fall into Rusals hands would be a concern to the other major aluminum producers and those with rare earth ambitions. I say slowly because it is likely that there will always be a standstill agreement with Rusal.

Orbites technology will revolutionize both industries and provide significant quantities of a highly strategic material, Scandium. It will be interesting to see the eventual agreement with Rusal and I wonder at what point does the relationship with Rusal significantly complicate a corporate takeover. If I am the one looking to buy Orbite and own the technology I would think the price will never be cheaper than now and I do not have to deal with Rusal in a meaningful way if I take it out now.

It is obvious that management does not want to sell the company and that most shareholders are thinking long term as well - which is smart. As such there has been little discusion around this possibility.

Does any one else out there have any thoughts on this topic?
