I disagree. Turning into a patent troll does not generate medium or long-term value. Not to mention I think patent trolls are a scourge on the Earth.

Focus relentlessly on execution, build the best mobile OS out there to supplement your hardware leadership, and partner, partner, partner. That's what RIM needs to do. They have the ingredients for a turnaround if they would just execute effectively and in a timely manner.
