RE: analyst increases ICP target to $2.50 ICP has 838 million tons of measured and indicated mineral resources at a minimum five-foot thickness with 80 per cent or greater polyhalite grade and more than 22 per cent K2SO4 content. This represents more than 190 million tons of sulphate of potash (SOP) contained within the ore.
SOP current sells for approximately $700 per ton in the United States, which translates into a contained product value within the ICP ore of over $130-billion.
With manageable process risk, a proven resource, unparalleled management bench strength, access to infrastructure, and a solid balance sheet, ICP stands out among the junior potash space.
The potash produced will be Sulphate of Potash, which is the premium potash that sells at a 50% price to regular potash (MOP). SOP is used by producers of vegetables, fruits, tobacco, horticultural plants due to the fact it does not contain the chloride associated with MOP which can damage high value crops.
