Regional magnetic gradient
I recall a presentation from last year, where the CEO mentioned that one of the key reasons Northair originally selected La Cigarra is because they noticed that mineralization appeared to be found along the magnetic field / line at numerous locations within the region.
This is where La Cigarra is located also, along the magnetic field. However, I have noticed that the magnetic line breaks sharply to the west/southwest once it reaches just above our SG zone (within the lower LB zone). I hope the new land package includes this west / southwest extension of the magnetic field. I would like to see Northair explore this area (and further exploit this theory), to try to find a 5th mineralized zone at La Cigarra. I also hope that the new land package also includes the area that hosts the potentially 4th mineralized zone, located to the south / southeast of our LC zone.
Given the CEO`s comment about where mineralization appears to be located in the area, I wouldn`t be surprised if the 531 million ounce historical San Francisco del Oro silver deposit and the 281 million ounce historical Santa Barbara silver deposit are both located along this same magnetic field, as the linie dips down the south (if not this same field then perhaps a similar magnetic field).
A map with the regional magnetic gradient (in blue) can be found at the bottom of this page (2nd map, top row of maps). Also, the blue map at the top of the page shows the San Francisco and Santa Barbara mine locations relative to La Cigarra. It would be also nice if Northair was able to capture (in the new land purchase) some of the 15 or so km land along the trend between La Cigarra and San Francisco, as the trend seems to align nicely southeast into San Francisco and Santa Barbara. In my opinion, given the magnitude of the discoveries at La Cigarra, San Francisco and Santa Barbara, that 15 km stretch is definitely worth at least preliminary exploration work.
