RE: Cdn Mining to appear in IM magazine, EPCM Worl I too have followed the zeolite story. But having a reserve and mining it, is the easy part. Commercially selling it is the hard part. The fact is, the uses for zeolite are many, but few economical and the markets are not deep. Right now, the primary uses in North America are cattle feed, some water treatment, odor control and soil.
I know St. Cloud has sold some for rad waste, but not sure if that clino or chabazite.
For a company to be successful and big, they need a well funded research staff, finding new uses and that equates to serious dollars. From what I understand the total North American market is approximately 100,000 tons which is tiny.
