RE: Mine life hi maz
actually 400,000mtus are about 4000t out
of the roughly 1 to 1.2 mT they plan to mine
each year.....
hence the roughly 11.5 year time frame....
the plant is being set at a 1.2mT capacity....
at first.... if you know anything about mines
and geology, it's great to use any or all numbers
with "about", "roughly", or even "estimated"
because once they start to get into this mine
for real, and process ore, etc., it's not like a homogenous
chocolate cake... they will have to mine selectively, do
ore grading/blending, and there will always be variations in
the ore/waste ratio and %WO3 run of mine ore....
as a side note, they are currently drilling to prove up about
54.0 mT of inferred upper resources as well, with
news on that, i imagine this summer / fall and
that will be a major PLUS to the feasibility
figures that had been provided to date....esp.
if the average grade of ore maintains or even increases...
perhaps tripling or more, the life of mine....
the plant can be expanded to handle
about 2.4mT in the future if they wish to do
so.. so they have mentioned and so was designed
for that potential..... with the global crunch on for
tungsten and other materials, i'm thinking they'll
be expanding the plant within 10 years....
if you haven't already, i recommend contacting
tiger kim in korea, or the folks at head office in VAN.... and viewing all docs etc
on SEDAR if you seek more information.....
cheers
