Golden Band Resources Inc GBRIF

Golden Band Resources Inc. is a Canada-based gold producer engaged in exploration, mine development and extraction of gold ores from its properties in the La Ronge Gold Belt in northern Saskatchewan and processing at its Jolu mill. It has assembled a land package in excess of 870 square kilometers (km2) that includes thirteen known gold deposits and four former producing mines, which were Star Lake, Decade, Komis and Jolu. The Company is mining at three deposits to feed the mill. These are Roy Lloyd, Greywacke and Golden Heart. Roy Lloyd mine is an underground mine extracting ore from the Bingo deposit. Golden Heart is located approximately nine kilometers east of the Komis mine and is accessible through a 17-kilometer mine road connecting to Highway 102 just north of Brabant Lake.

RE: RE: New Zone? Where?

RE: RE: New Zone? Where?

Starting with some old Riddle Till qoutes that I hope you will find relevant to my thoughts on the Komis Drill results.

It is also reported in "Gold in Saskatchewan", Sask. Energy and Mines, Open File Report 84-1, that the EP dispersion train has dimensions of 50 metres by 800 metres, and is estimated to grade 0.03 ounces per cubic metre. Further investigation of this target is planned for the fall, including excavator test pitting and reverse circulation drilling.

https://www.goldenbandresources.com/html/news/press_releases/index.cfm?ReportID=80480

During the past summer, a systematic backhoe and reverse circulation drill program was completed to test the grade of the Riddle till. A total of 53 bulk till samples were collected by an excavator on a 50 by 25 meter grid pattern for a distance 600 meters down ice. The 50 kg samples were processed through a Knelson Gold Concentrator. The heavy mineral concentrate was assayed through the facilities of the Saskatchewan Research Council. The grade of the bulk till samples ranged from 0.05 g/t Au to 1.135 g/t Au with a weighted average of 0.244 g/t Au. The till thickness was found to be quite variable, with a maximum of 4.3 meters and an average of 1.35 meters.

An excellent side by side aerial view of the proposed open pits for EP and Komis fro 2009 PFS on pg 115. Pg 108 shows the original Komis open pit design.

So here is my take on the recent shallow holes on the east side of Komis. GBN was not happy with the results of the rushed mine plan in putting EP into production. Ron was able to convince the BOD that more holes were needed to test the zone whereby he was able to sneak in a few test holes beyond the known limits of the proposed Komis open pit mine plan and to everyones surprise he finds 120 g/t over 1.5m at 20m below surface 25m further west of the known limits of the Komis zone. As well, he discovers significant deep intersections 25-50m to the north of the proposed pit at depths of 200m below surface.

Ron tells the boys - your stumbling around underground isn't looking as good as my new finds. how about lettin me look some more before we proceed? Program 2 is a winner!!

IMO, Golden Band is extremely confident in the results of the untested historical cores in the upper Rhyolite sections and the known resource below the Rhyolite whose cores were tested and the proposed open pit plan was designed. IMO, Ron has strung together a strike length extending from KO-10-06 (120 g/t over 1.5m). likely including further width north and south, through the KO-11016, KO-11017, likely including a further width north to include KO-11018 KO-11019 and KO-11012, through the original proposed open pit area, and to the newly tested area which according to hole EPP-50 of 100m likely extends below the Riddle Till. The Riddle Till has an average thickness of 1.35m and depth of 45m. Hole EPP-50 is in the line of the Komis strike and shows an interesting 3.25 g/t over 3.05m at 93m.

IMO, there are many layers of gold here. Strip away 10m of waste and back in the good stuff.

So here is what I think is the point of this shallow drill program. If you have looked at the 2009 proposed Komis mine plan and the aerial view of the proposed Komis and EP plans you will see the proposed waste rock area. If you look at the Komis plan on pg 108 you will notice the ramp decline starts on the east side and continues around the south and down into the pit. Ron has proven with strong near surface results that this is no longer amenable to a current mine plan. Which leaves us wondering how close are they to a mine plan for Komis and where will the new ramp decline begin?

To those who say - Golden Band has finally found new mineralization and not just infill drilling. I say such a person has no idea what they are looking at or talking about.

To those that ask for Reserves - to that person I would state that Reserves come with a mine plan which would convert Measured and Indicated Resources to Reserves at that time. So any reference to Reserves is dependent upon a new mine plan.

To those who say - only 2 holes ...blah, blah - I would state they should back up from the tree and see the forrest. I say rather than examining each individual puzzle piece and seeing a lack of anything, put them together and they actually show quite the picture.

Anyways I'm heading out for a 15 day road tip through Ontario.
