As the Pacific tectonic plate merged underneath the North American tectonic plate,
the western coast was squeezed and pushed skyward forming the Rocky Mountains
extending from Alaska in the north to Chile in South America. Where rupture occurred,
lava carrying the precious and base metals seeped into the soil and was carried
along inside the Rocky Mountains.
As high grade gold is found in shallow drill cores of less than 100 meters,
it is very likely Aurelian style of bonanza gold deposit will be found at the depth
