Interesting article....

Interesting article....

on the Birimian gold belt on which Oromin sits. It is not a very recent article but it is very informative as it compares the Carlin and Cortez belts in Nevada to the Birimian belt that runs through Senegal. It mentions that if Nevada where a country it would rank in the top five in the world as far as gold production. That is how tightly concentated the gold is. For example in the Carlin trend most deposits lie in an area that is only 18 miles long by 2 miles wide. It also mentions Oromin several times and states how West Africa is the base for the fastest growing gold exploration in the world. It states that the Birimian belt contains mineralization at "depth" which is what OLE is constantly saying in all of their presentation and press releases. You can bet Chet knows all of this.
