RE: Keep Your Eye On the ball

RE: Keep Your Eye On the ball

An initial interpretation of the preliminary processing of the 3D has confirmed the presence of the large Lead "A" which had been identified on the old vintage, sparsely spaced 2D seismic data.

This was mentioned in passing in the N/R but could be of great significance.  The structure is large (see page 15 of the May 2012 presentation).  It is also located between the L53 oil discoveries to the south and the recent National oil company's oil discovery to the north.  If it turns out to contain oil, then it will be big (much more so than L53), but there is no guarantee.  The 3D shows that the structure is there, but not whether it contains oil or water. They need to drill to find out.
