AUX will want the property to lower the construction costs and simplify the design of their mine, not to mention the additional gold. Then there is Vetas. Combined both of these properties offer tremendous potential for gold.
I agree that the 1.1 M oz that RJ estimates for California is too low. There has been a year of drilling with multiple rigs hitting great intercepts that has not been included in that number. Even Schiff's 1.75 M is conservative, but on this basis a $3.50 SP is not unreasonable and represents a nearly 4X increase from today's level.
The question now is when. Wasn't the resource estimate expected by the end of Q2, with one analyst saying early Q3? We have been waiting such a long time.....
