RE: Market is not garbage....

RE: Market is not garbage....

No, the markets are garbage. I have tried too many strategies from techinical trading and beyond. My stop losses would kick in and knock me out, 3 days later I miss a 20% gain..... I got annoyed, stopped using stop losses. Now I'm down another 70%. I'm getting married next month. Last October I lost the enitre wedding fund. I got roped into the hype. Sold at the Oct 4th bottom. All my positions then rallied and I would have recovered. But I sold so I got screwed. Now with what I have left I refuse to sell and all it's brought me is another 70% loss on what I have left. I could have bought a 2nd house and paid off my wedding no problem. Instead, I'm on a strict budget and using all my savings I have left for the wedding. Any new money is going into very conservative savings accounts with garbage 1% interest rates. But at least they always go up. I bought some dividend stocks to "protect" my wealth. Ya right. 4.5% dividend on a 40% drop in share price is a useless dividend. The only people making money are the ones who are taking mine. I'm not giving them any more money, period. My wife's mutual funds are also trashed, just less than mine. The markets are not worth investing a nickle in, period. They will just eat your wealth. I am 2yrs behind now on my financial goals thanks to my gambling problem. It's completely pathetic. Analysts say "oh, yes, this is a buy at $12 because you will see $18 to 22 in 12 to 18 months". No accountability for their voice. I believed what they said, i bought in. Now it's under $5. It's messed up. The economy is not even as bad as it was 4yrs ago but the stocks are acting like it is. I'm not moving a thing. I'll ride this to zero if I have to. I'm done. I won't sell a loosing position and I won't average down either because that's just adding more money to a problem and will just eat more of my wealth. I'm guessing that in 4 to 5 years I will finally be able to sell my stocks for break even, walk away and never ever look back. Everytime the bank calls me and tries to convince me to make an investment I blow up at the caller. They obviously want more of my money because they are greedy. I'm done with all of them. Everyone should take their money back and stop putting it into this casino. Give them nothing to play with and then they'll actually have to work for a living. Pigs. Straight up pigs. I can't believe the nonsense I have witnessed on BNN over the years. I think maybe 5% of the recommondations I have witnessed were actually good. The rest, these guys don't know any better. They tell you its a good buy, 3 days later they change their minds and go short. Whatever. Garbage garbage garbage. Don't support this insanity. I'm still paying $1.40 at the pump, Oil itself isn't even down a dollar but the Oil sector on my screen is acting like we just dropped $20. This is a video game, it's not reality. It's not based on anything. People say it is, but everytime I think I found a good stock, it just eats more holes in my pockets. It's a freakin nightmare. The bank called me and tried to get me to borrow my equity in my home to use in the stock market. Ya right. My home's value just went down $20k this year and you think I want to borrow what little equity I have left to loose it in the stock market? What kind of financial advice is that? That is a crook trying to take my last nickle. I don't trust any of these so called professionals. They aren't telling me the truth.
