Taliban Head Quarters in Africa

Taliban Head Quarters in Africa

Just a slight correction.  It is not the Tuareg rebels that control 1/3 of the country.  It is now Al-Qaeda, known as the AQIM in the Sahara that now control 2/3's of Mali.  It is feared that the Taliban are quickly moving operations from Pakistan to Mali.

You can read more as was discribed in Weds National Post - page A12, entitled "Al-Qaeda and its allies have seized a swathe of Africa - Mali's new masters".
