RE: RE: RE: Latest Options

RE: RE: RE: Latest Options

There is some merit in what you say. However, just remember these guys just barely kept their jobs through intensive late negotiations with unhappy SH's. So now that record production has been accomplished does this warrant all these options after all the past mistakes?

Just saying !! Maybe they should have shown some restraint until the situation stabilized. It appears they already had these options set before the NR & are now going to make sure they get paid first incase something goes awray & they lose their positions. I'm all for performance options but you can't fail 3-4 time succeed once & reward yourself IMO. The BOD's had to approve so someone thinks the options were justified. If the SP gets back up over a buck nobody will complain but if it stays in the 50's for a long time heads will roll next year IMO & those that were given options & have a buy out in their contract will be well positioned to weather their dismissal. Will you the retail be rewarded for your long years of loyalty not like insiders only if your willing to stick it out, take the risk of putting up your own money, & hoping management can increase SH value & subsequently raise the SP. All isiders really have to lose is their job which as is most often the case they just move on to another company or go buy some land & start a new one. Wonderful position to bein IMO. But I also will not complan if they can get the SP back up after things settle out in Mali. Management has to find a way to get the mill finished quickly to deserve this kind of compensation IMO.
