I agree with you retired. Just bought at $21.2 for swing trading purposes. It's interesting to note that another large Cdn firm (with significant US and international presence), IBI Group (ticker IBG and another former income trust) has suffered the same decline from their 52 week high. They too, in the not too distant past, issued stock at a much higher price than it is trading today. I have a feeling that in their case, the sovereign debt situation is causing some concern given their exposure to government infrastructure projects. Not sure if this is the same for GNV or it is just the usual impact that a major acquisition has on the acquiring company's share price. IBG's yield is now over 10%.
