Re: Don't blame Mraz for the f#&ups Mraz, from the little exposure he had on the video, seemed to me that he is an engineer and engineers are not usually savvy in operating things or on planning. The specialization and the demands on the profession are so great that unless they have the support of the management they usually fail. In the meantime if you look at the Board, it's staffed with colourful personalities and hardly anyone of them with "hands on" experience, and that for public relation purposes dreamed up by Bates, the presumed brain of the gang whose whole purpose was to give some gravitas to his "Manhattan Project". Haunted by Napoleonean images of grandeur, he probably thought that bringing in some grandes personnas, like McKnight and Bros, he would be taken seriously by the investment community both in Canada and the States. It's not difficult to circumscribe the personality features of a would be pigfarmer turned CEO. The only detail though that escaped him was: that someone had to do the work at CMK and do it effectively. \And I am afraid that Mraz, a hard working man, will be the fall guy in this murky business of finger pointing. For now, Bates and his buddies blamed it all on the " market", no personal accountability what so ever from Bates and his buddies. Now, I need to send a message to Mr. Stone. Mr. Stone you seem to be a smart man who knows what and how. The people that surround you, once you succeed or being close to being successful, they will cut you down to size in order to preserves their privileges. Do not let them. Your power at this point is potential not actual yet. To become actual you have to make the right moves and keep in mind tha in this business of dog -eat -dog there are no permanent friendships or alliances. Friendships change, interests remain. Do not forget that. In another blog, I will explain the ins and outs of political power and how to survive amongst sharks. So long for now.
