CTWs flagship product, the Vindicator, is a feature not a product. I equate it to Cruise Control on your car. Its awesome if the car comes with it, but there isn't much of an aftermarket for it, especially if it voids the warranty. Which brings me to my second point.
Installing a Vindicator voids the warranty, unless you get special permission from the manufacturer. As I recall only one manufacturer has given such permission. No matter what it saves you long term, its very risky short term You are in affect risking 100% of your investment to gain 10% efficiency. By the time the warranty runs out it makes more business sense to buy a new, more efficient turbine, with a brand new warranty.
I think that CTWs has only 2 real options. 1) Buyout. 2) Licensing. This is of course based on the yet to be determined IP ownership issue. If they don't actually own the IP then there are no options.
