2012-07-18 07:56 PT - News Release

Mr. Gordon Blankstein reports

ANDOVER REPORTS INITIAL ASSAY RESULTS FROM THE 2012 DRILL PROGRAM AT SUN PROPERTY, AMBLER DISTRICT, ALASKA

Andover Mining Corp. has released its assay results from the first drill hole of its 2012 drilling program on the Sun property located in the Ambler mining district in northwest Alaska. Drill hole SUN 12-29 was completed on June 21, 2012, at a depth of approximately 203 metres.

The 2012 drill core was logged, split and boxed on site by Andover's geologists. Core from SUN 12-29 was shipped to the ALS Chemex prep lab in Fairbanks, Alaska. The pulps from Fairbanks were analyzed for 35 elements at the ALS Chemex facilities in Vancouver, B.C., and the gold assays were performed at ALS Chemex facilities in Reno, Nev. Base metal overlimits were wet assayed. Blanks and standards were inserted with each sample shipment.

Drill hole SUN 12-29 was the first drill hole of the 2012 drill program at the Sun property and tested the main Sun deposit. Significant drill intercepts from SUN 12-29 are shown in the attached table.
