RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Expect the offer to be rai At fair value, or I should say at a big discount to fair value, using just a PE multiple of 8 using the most recent quarter's results of 7cents EPS, annualize that, gives a share price of $1.92! and that's a big discount using a low 8 multiple.
There's a big discount on the SP because of the russian forks invovled. and it shows up in their Nord gold price too. They're trading at $4.95 today, according to the nord site. Didn't they originally trade at like 8 or 9 bucks? That should tell you something about nord and about investor confidence in them. Karma is a you know what, as they say.
HRG is the only real asset in Nord that's worth something, all of their other cr/\p, who knows what it's worth, with their dispute with the Guinea gov't if I remember correctly about their purchase from Endeavor about 2 years ago (?). I'm not up to date on that, so I don't know the current status. I'm also a shareholder in Endeavor gold.
No way I'll swap my HRG shares for their Nord gold shares. Why would I in my right mind swap my shares in a miner that's raking it in, no debt, with big production increase potential from 350koz to 450koz in less than a year, with probably a large resource increase update coming in Q3 this year, to being (again) minorities of the company run by the same forks who has absolutely no respect or regard for shareholders, but this time, with questionable assets thrown in the mix? HAHA... funny stuff.
I don't know if the offer will succeed at 1.40, but my bet is it won't. We'll wait and see what CCharlwood has to say about it and the other majority holders.
Even if the bid is successful, I'll take the cash, and put it in all the other PM miners that are so beaten down right now. There are literally bargains everywhere you look, that I have to ask again, why would anyone want to be part of anything these russian forks are in?
ps. their offer of a so called 17% premium is a joke. A very nice way to slap the minorities faces. I'm also a sharehold in La Mancha, LMA on the TSX, that just got bought out at a 56% premium.
