RE: The stock doesn't take off I think the market is still concerned with AC's 4.4 billion dollar pension deficit. Unless they find a way to deal with this liability, it will continue to be a huge drag on profits heading into the future. On top of that, the airline industry is very volatile. Fuel costs can change at any moment and if the economy stagnantes or declines, people will be less inclined to spend dwindling disposal incomes on air travel; especially if the cost of living continues to rise while incomes stagnate or decline.
