RE: Press Release out Laughable if it wasn't so absurd. You should stick to being an attorney because you can't do basic math.
NEW YORK, July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ruby Creek Resources, Inc. (RBYC), a gold exploration and mining company with operations in Tanzania, hereby provides an operations update. Ruby Creek test mining on its GS1 mining license area during the quarter ended May 31, 2012 yielded recovered grades which we estimate varied from 0.16 to 0.86 g/lcm (loose cubic meter) and approximately 14 ounces of gold.
There is nothing that says that says how much of each grade they processed. It is unbelievable that they could not keep track of that. If the grade had been actually at .51 then the total processed would certainly have been more than 14 ounces in 3 months. Do they really think people are that stupid to swallow this lack of professionalism and clarity? There is no such thing as an average grade when they don't report the total tonnage processed.
total tons divided by grams recovered = grade
So how much tonnage did they put in to get 14 ounces in 3 months? well, if the grade was .5 grams per ton, they would have only had to mine 800 tons. At 40 tons per hour that would be a total of 20 hours in three months of work. Not possible to have .5 grams per ton is it? If they were only processing 20 tons per hour then it would have only taken 40 hours to get the 14 ounces. What did they do for the other 11 weeks out of 12 weeks? No the grade probably is very low; maybe .1 grams per ton, that is why they are not reporting total tonnage. Also recovery percentages may have been very low even if a higher grade of gold was there.
Stinks to high heaven.
