Double mine life is good but it's also nice that if there is an appreciable bump in demand from any number of things (redox batteries, li-vanadium, steel strengthening, or another application) they also have the capability to produce a fair amount more V while still maintaining the same mine life we currently have.
Double the resource doesn't always mean you can produce twice as much in the same time period... there can be physical hurdles from logistics to processing to mining and would require a bigger investment in equipment to pull off. But it certainly means that there is ability to significantly improve production quantity without running the mine dry in 5 years.
