RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Issueing 20 cent Optio Johnny - You are speaking about the "normal" behaviour from this PM bull market since 2001. I speak from a future behaviour that will look like this:
try to catch all of physical metal (gold AND silver)
if there isn´t any metal to catch without paying astronomical prices try to catch the miners which have them in the ground (explorers are the better choice because they don´t "waste" the prescious goods like producers, they are "PM-banks" in that scenario). Money will flow out of bonds and stocks and will find it´s way to all things related to the PM´s. With only about 1 percent of investments in the PM-sector at this point in time there is plenty of room for a good run...
This has similiar happened before in the great depression in the 30´s which also was a dept-depression. And it should happen again because there is no more faith in any paper because of depreciating currencies and no more trust in any counterparties. Risk will be defined anew.
Be assured: your "But the fact is I dont believe people will lose faith in fiat, there may be a few dodgy moments but the world will continue very much in the same way it has." won´t play out this time. The world will be the same but not the financial markets in our present western imagination. You can´t go back to normalcy without massive default. That´s my two cents on the topic.
