RE: RE: USA - Hecla- Sprott - What say you? Petersburg, do you know what the Sprott lock-up agreement means? That was mentioned in the original merger agreement. I was wondering if that means that Sprott cannot change their minds and take the Hecla offer. As far as Hecla refusing to up their bid, saying anything other than this being the final bid would be to say that there is definitely a higher offer coming so be patient.
I own more shares in USA than I am comfortable with and I am definitely underwater. In a normal market, these shares are worth a lot more but this market is not normal. The advantage to us to accept this offer is so that we suddenly have more cash to invest in other undervalued companies. There are lots of them out there. My big complaint is that $1.80 is simply too low but maybe what I should be doing is looking at other companies, including Hecla, to see how cheap their shares look. I might just sell as I feel I have been trapped in USA. The price was too cheap to sell yet they kept falling even further.
