It seems to me that the coal announcements are positive in that NAG is being relieved of its exposure to legal actions that were a potential problem. It was already obvious that the coal assets and operations were no longer of value to NAG. The big downside here is the decision by Hunter not to proceed with the Louise Lake venture. That asset would appear to be the only thing of value left in the company. While NAG is attempting to maintain a positive attitude about it by saying it has value if commodity prices are strong Hunter would have needed years to get it into production so that seems to be a weak argument.
