Breccia Zone..Open Pit Parameter..

Breccia Zone..Open Pit Parameter..

After a thorough review of all available drilling data my findings point to an Open Pit Scenario centered around the Breccia Zone. For those of you that would like to study my findings further I will post a detailed summary...click on the Drill Hole Location Map to better understand the data.

The company stated that the Breccia Zone encompasses an area that is 250 metres (length) X 150 metres (width) X 250 metres (depth)...I will use these dimensions as the core of an Open Pit scenario. The grades found in this core area are significant and will most likely average about 2.5 g/t to 3.00 g/t...very nice! The driling data thus far point to very little waste in this area.

In an Open Pit scenario the focus will be to extract all of Breccia Zone and process it through the Mill...therefore let us say that we want to "get at" all of the Breccia Zone which we will consider as a 250 m X 150 m X 250m Block.

250 X 150 X 250 = 9,375,000 cubic metres

In order to convert this figure to tonnes I will use a rock density of 2.50 tonnes per cubic metre...we do not have an accurate figure for the Ana Paula Property at this time...I will error on the low side.

9,375,000 cubic metres X 2.50 = 23,437,500 tonnes.

23,437,500 tonnes X 3.0 g/t (grade) = 70,312,500 grams of gold.

70,312,500 grams divided by 31 g (troy ounce) = 2,238,154 ounces of gold.

NIce...we have 2.2 million ounces of gold...how to we get at all of it...let us use the block dimensions.

To get to a depth of 250 metres...using 15 metre benches(example)...we will need approximately 16 benches to get to the 250 metre vertical depth target....for every 15 metres we move to depth we must move 15 metres in a lateral direction...from each side of the Breccia Zone Block.

16 X 15 = 240 metres...I will use 250 metres (rounded)...North, South, East & West.

The Open Pit Parameters now become....250 metres (length) + 250 metres lateral, East + 250 metres, West = 750 metres (length)

150 metres (width) + 250 metres lateral, North + 250 metres lateral, South = 650 metres (width)

The depth is consistent at 250 metres.

New dimensions: 750 m (length) X 650 m (width) X 250 m (depth).

These dimensions are the outer limits of the Open Pit and as we move in 15 metres at a time for each bench the dimensions will be reduced accordingly...in otherwords the Open Pit will shrink by 15 metres on each side as we move towards the Breccia Zone, which works out to 30 metres reduction in size for each bench we move down....by the time we get to the 250 metres vertcial depth we will have extracted the entire Breccia Zone Block and the bottom of the Open Pit will be 250 m X 150m.

Well...this is just great...we have extracted the entire Breccia Zone...2,268,145 ounces...but...at what cost?

Here is where the economics will come into play namely, dilution as we move away from the Breccia Zone...strip ratio.

In otherwords, the area surrounding the Breccia Zone must have significant grade in order for this scenario to work...there is good news to support the economics.

The center of the Breccia Zone is on heading 7950N...the limits from there are 8025N & 7875N, 150 metres (width). From those limits we add on the lateral movement that I mentioned which means that the Open Pit moving North to South will be on headings...7625N to 8275N...8275 - 7625 = 650 metres (width).

The holes that are confirmed thus far that fall into this range are AP-16..AP-77 & AP-79 at the Northern Limits and AP-27 & AP-30 at the Southern Limits. You may want to click on the following to get a better idea of the data:

That is the good news...there is significant mineralization to support the Open Pit moving North to South...on trend (strike)...we will get dilution but the total grade will be robust in nature.

The bad news...Moving to the West...no significant mineralization found todate...serious dilution moving in this direction...it will affect the grade significantly.

Looking forward...Moving to the East..the potential is wide open...there has been no drlling moving away from the Breccia Zone parmeters todate and we know that the mineralization to the East is at or near surface....expansion to the East is very favourable at this time and future drilling results will give us a better idea of dilution moving to the East.

The market is waiting as myself for the data moving East...very important to the economics of the Open Pit Design...I look forward to drilling data from that region.

The example I have used only involves results to vertical depth of 250 metres...they have found mineralization at further depths...but...remember...as they move deeper they will have to expand the Open Pit accordingly on a lateral direction which brings a larger area into play which could result in additional dilution and affect the economics of the project. My findings thus far point to a pinch out to the South beyond the holes I mentioned...moving to the North the potential for expansion and significant mineralization looks promising.

However, having said that...Hole AP-67 does point to a more South West Trend rather than a move to the South away from the Breccia Zone...it does look very promising...we need much more data moving forward.
