RE: Cement Plug successful

RE: Cement Plug successful

Thanks Rock07 for alerting us to what is happening on the SOU Board.  For those interested, here is the full posting by starstriker on the LSE SOU board (Friday:7:36 p.m.), including the e-mail from the CEO of SOU:

"Although I would seriously recommend you email him for yourself, perhaps it was only standard stuff although WE need to be the judge of that based on the stoppage in play.

Dear Graeme

The cement plug is a normal part of operations and is placed in the hole to stop mud losses into the native rock.

The cement has now been drilled through and the well is continuing down

Regards

Gerry

Subject: Conference call clarification

Dear Mr Orbell,

Please can you provide some clarification with regard to the cement plug that must now be used at jatayu.

When was this discovered, date? and how long would you expect before you can announce if it has been a success or failure and if this fix will be announced.

Many thanks

Graeme"
