RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: slinvestor are your Sc slinvestor. Quick question....are you hopeful that with all the information you require, that a different conclusion on the viability of the property will be reached?
Firstly, geologists don't just eyeball core and say "nah, not worthy of assay" They look at the rock structures that are likely to host mineralization. If you know that the first 50 metres is barren rock, why spend the money to assay, albeit that 50 metres counts as part of the overall metres drilled. As far as any statistical basis used, I am not sure why you think having all the confidendence intervals and standard deviations, and regression analysis will help you determine whether or not Tesoro is a bust. NO COMPANY RELEASES THIS BECAUSE IT IS USELESS AND NEEDLESSLY COMPLEX TO RELEASE. Not sure why you are so thick about this - many, many companies have had poor drill programs, and I have never seen such denial by investors, and requests to know all the methods are determining what was sampled and why, and then indicating the whole story is not known. The story is known to date - 12,000 metres and nothing encouraging. There is not some hidden gem to indicate that the property has potential.
As for "suspended" versus "cancelled" - to me, one and the same when a company press releases that. They are not going to openly admit at this juncture that Tesoro is dead - they still need to try keep a little air in the balloon, and can just as easily say suspended, as the regulators would have a hard time proving they have no intent of ever drilling on Tesoro again.
As for your geo friends - remember - just like doctors, lawyers, and accountants - there are great ones, good ones, and ignorant ones. If they are indicating to you to hold out for more information - they may be honest, but they are idiotic investors and maybe idiotic geologists. I have read hundreds, maybe thousands, of exploration company press releases and none have provided the information you are seeking. What does that tell you?
Sorry man, but your investment needs a miracle......
