RE: Logged interval

RE: Logged interval

sanspeine, you obviously did not do your DD.  These are two different holes.  If you go to slide 21 of the May 28 presentation you will see the deviated hole, that they had to abandon after hitting the 54 feet, and the new vertical hole that they are now drilling.  As expected, these different holes hit the formation at different levels, as the slide and the other slides show.

Re the SOU board comments, to do proper logging, they have to drill about 100 feet below any formation (to allow for the vertical lengths etc. of the testing equipment).  Because they got stuck in formation, they were not able to test the lower parts of it.  Therefore, it appears logical that once they plugged and drilled about 100 feet beyong the bottom of that formation (we do not know how much further down the formation went), they would re-run the log test for the bottom part before proceeding to the lower main target.

The SOU board, apparently based on comments made by the CEO on the conference call, do not think POE will drill below that towards the main target, because they are getting very narrow on the hole diameter (the last casing was apparently down to 6 inches (per SOU's N/R) and so the lower hole will have to be narrower than that).  POE however indicated they will drill and they are the operator and have the last say on the subject.  We will have to wait and see.
