Yes, there are many drivers of risk here, and none work to the favour of small stocks like BXI which have been made vulnerable. As I have said before, all my favourites of the past (SXL, HMG) have crashed just as badly as BXI and cannot get back on their feet. Currently a blue chip seems to be anything that can stay afloat for 6 months.

While I retain a healthy scepticism about some of the things that have gone on here, there is no doubt the world needs to give us BXI break.

Not to mention Sandy Weill.
