RE: RE: RE: betting on US recovery
RE: RE: RE: betting on US recovery First, thankyou Tentop1 for taking the time to respond. I sincerely would like to think you are correct in your assumptions on where the badly needed recovery will develope from. I am sure IMC and Berkshire are taking a long hard look at the international economic climate as a part of their DD. I will now try to be very brief about what I see in my own very humble opinion is an economic problem that has been a very long time in the making. I will now make a few very blunt but to the point statements ( make of them what you will ). The so called " Trickle Down Theory" has left 3% of Americans financially well off enough to live like Greek or Roman Gods. They have or will have very shortly 97% of the wealth in the U.S.A. This leaves 97% of Americans to share the remaining 3% of the pie. The " Middle Class" was the Goose that laid America's Golden Egg. It is presently being bled dry reducing down more and more middle class families to the " Working Poor" catagory. At present 14 MILLION plus Americans are without employment or under employed. The number of Americans in the " Desperate Poor" catagory ( the homeless ect ) has SHARPLY increased over the last number of DECADES! Under a number of different administrations. This is a problem that has been a long time in the making and neither the Democrats or the Rebublicans are going to be able to fix it without making EMENCE and PROFOUND changes to the system which operates the economic life of the United States. I don't like to be insulting or too critical but it is my opinion that the American System has put too much priority on " Individual success" which has led finally to the detrement of the society as a whole. When 3% of American's have 97% of the economic pie it is not in the best interests of the MAJORITY. It was supposed to be Government by the people for the people. America has played the WINNER LOSER system of Capitolism and the present situation is the end result. Like a huge lottery where everyone participates but only a very very few end up winners!. However, unlike if you have a losing lottery ticket costing a couple of bucks, you can go out and buy another one and get another chance. American's have bet their entire past present and future for a chance to become another Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, or Donald Trumph leaving 97% of them LOSERS. If IMC does not go ahead with this deal with WOF, you can bet they don't see much in America's economic future. This is my point of view. GLTA!
